It is important to us to be an environmentally friendly warehouse.
It is our policy to minimise negative environmental impacts from all of the company's operations and to encourage companies in our service to do the same.
- Gorilla Warehouse is a "paperless warehouse". The company's operations are automated with a cloud-based warehouse system that rapidly reduces waste and paper consumption. For example, we do not print "pick labels" for order processing and do not include printed catalogs or return labels for orders. Only electronic invoices are sent. This alone saves 1000+ pages every day.
- At the beginning of 2021, we stopped offering plastic mailbags and only have recycled paper mailbags available to customers. We encourage companies in service to use more environmentally friendly options in packaging.
