Next month, another change is underway for us at Gorilla Warehouse. We are constantly working on improving our services and now we want to make product delivery faster, more accurate and more convenient for everyone.
Starting next month, we will close our front desk at Vatnagarðar 22. This means that it will no longer be available for online store customers to choose to pick up their order at Gorilla Warehouse.
Instead of a single delivery point with very limited opening hours in Vatnagarðar – there will be 30+ delivery points available across the country – all of which have long opening hours, or are even open around the clock!
Why close the front desk at Vatnagarðar?
We are closing the front desk because we want to offer you world-class delivery. We want to offer you as convenient delivery as possible. To begin with, it was ideal for us to invite customers to pick us up at the warehouse, but circumstances have now changed:
1. The number of delivered shipments now numbers in the thousands every month, and our small front desk is unfortunately not at all suitable for providing such a number of good services. We were very sad to offer customers long queues to the street last winter.
2. Our warehouse is in Vatnagarðar and for 90% of customers it is absolutely not in the way to stop by our house to pick up a consignment. What is your time worth? We want to make product delivery easier by allowing you to pick up closer.
3. At Vatnagarðar we have offered limited opening hours, between 12-17. We would like to invite you to pick up whenever it suits you. Open all day, into the evening or even around the clock!
How can I access my order?
It's never been easier to get orders from online stores!
Same-day home deliveries are available in the capital area and the entire southwest corner of Iceland with TVG Xpress – this is same-day express delivery to over 85% of the population.
We'll ship anywhere in the country with a carrier. Shipment is usually ready for delivery the next day.
And in partnership with Dropp, there are now 30+ delivery points across the country where you can pick up your order yourself, near you. You can read about all shipping routes here.
